About Us

The Ransom Notes is the premier co-ed a cappella group from The University of Texas at Austin. Founded in 1996, The Ransom Notes features students from a variety of different majors who are passionate about making music together. The group is completely student-led, and members do everything from running rehearsals to creating original song arrangements.
